Bahrain achieves fifth-largest renewable energy increase worldwide

According to a newly published study Bahrain has seen the fifth-largest increase in renewable energy capacity since 2011, thereby growing by 900 percent. Bahrain’s Industrial Plan 2022-2026 stipulates the transition of its industry to Industry 4.0 gradually implementing green energies for sustainable growth. A green hydrogen plant as well as other related projects are in the pipeline. By 2060 the country wants to become carbon neutral.
